Accolade are Wendy Scandurra (tenor), Amanda Andrews (baritone) and Vicki Dwyer (lead). They have been singing together since March 2003. In 2010 we welcome our new Bass - Glenda Lloyd - director of Brindabella Chorus in Canberra.
It has been an exciting journey – In their first contest together in 2004, they won the Australian Regional Competition with the highest ever national quartet score and qualifying them to compete in the Sweet Adelines International Competition. They have gone on to win the regional contest four times and are looking forward to representing Australia for the third time at International Convention in Honolulu during November 2008.
Even with 11 children between them, they still find time to practice, practice, practice and never tire of striving for that elusive "lock & ring". But of course their ultimate enjoyment comes from performing to an audience, where the most important goal is to have fun!
