Dear CKC girls,
As Janice I had my alarm set at 2.30 am and to my horror found out that I could only get the audio commentary (which was excellent by the way).
Even my husband James and my son Sean were up and got butterflies for you when the time came.
Just when you walked on we managed to get the video link going and what an event it was.
You have never sounded as good as on this big stage.
Congratulations to your placement and yes we beat the Kiwis to it (at least one area we got one over them).
Now enjoy the rest of the competition and party, party, party.
Thank you for the lovely thoughts you sent back home. It made us 'stay home' members feel really warm and fuzzy round the heart.
Congratulations once more and we are looking forward to get first hand reports when you are all back.

I wanted to wish you a great, fun and flawless competition experience in Brisbane next week. You know I am so privileged to hear both quartets singing in my house when you rehearse or are coached here - it's great to live in a home filled with such harmonies and friendships. I know you will do us proud on the competition stage - "Break a Lip!"
